Residents of Adygea find visa-free entry to Georgia incomplete

Many residents of Adygea note that the visa-free entry to Georgia for residents of Northern Caucasus is fine and convenient, but the fact that it exists for only a few regions makes, in their opinion, makes such a gesture incomplete.

"I've long wanted to go to Georgia - the country of rich history and culture," said Timur Khuranov, a resident of Adygeisk. "I'm glad that now I have a chance to realize my long-held dream. Moreover, you're now independent: just take your car and go".

"Of course, lifting unnecessary barriers for entry to Georgia bring our countries and residents closer," said Valentina Filatova from Maikop. "I have distant relatives in Georgia; now I have a real chance to visit them".

"But if we can go to Georgia, then why residents of the Krasnodar Territory, who live 10 kilometres away from our village, can't do it?" Aidamir Tleuzh, a resident of Yablonovskiy village, Takhtamukai District of Adygea, is surprised. "It's unfair and unpleasant. I find this decision a natural but incomplete step of Georgian leadership. Should they have allowed all the Russians enter Georgia without visas, it'd have been a complete step."
