In Dagestan, lawyer Bammatova is accused of staging the attacks on her

Gyulnara Bammatova, a lawyer with the Bar Association "Kavkaz", which had received a serious injury, according to her story, as a result of actions of the officer from the Republic's Drug Control Agency, was rejected in her attempt to open a criminal case against the attacker. Moreover, she herself was accused of insulting the drug control officer and simulating the attacks.

Gyulnara Bammatova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the refusal to open a criminal case was conveyed to her orally by Isa Buragin, investigator of the Sovietskiy District Prosecutor's Office.

"I don't agree with this decision and find it illegal and unjustified. Inspector Buragin failed to properly check the circumstances of my bodily injury," said Gyulnara and added that the inspector was given the original of the medical records for examination; he has not returned it yet.

Her advocate Konstantin Mudunov intends to appeal against the decision of inspector Buragin not to initiate criminal proceedings.
