Militiaman killed in Ingushetia
Yesterday, on October 19, in the Ingush city of Malgobek, unidentified assailants killed a militia senior lieutenant, an operative agent of the local GOVD (City Interior Department), said a source from law enforcement agencies.
"There are no details about the incident yet. At about 10:20 p.m. Moscow time, information arrived that senior militia lieutenant Kartoev, Ruslan Magomedovich, an operative agent of the GOVD, born in 1978, was shot dead in Lermontov Street in Malgobek," said the source.
He added that Kartoev had gunshot wounds in his chest and neck and died on the way to hospital, RIA "Novosti" reports.
