Picket in memory of casualties of terror act in North Ossetia held in Moscow

Today Moscow has hosted a picket in memory of the victims of terror acts committed on September 9 in Vladikavkaz. The participants of the event have expressed their hope that the situation in North Ossetia would not turn into an ethnic conflict.

The young people, who came in Moscow to the rally in memory of the victims of the terror acts in the capital of North Ossetia, said that troubles "always come into the republic from outside," and expressed hope that the situation would not escalate up to ethnic clashes, the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.

Let us remind you that in the morning on September 9, a suicide bomber in a Volga car triggered a powerful self-made bomb at the entrance to the central marketplace of Vladikavkaz, killing 19 people: 14 - right on the spot, 5 more - later. The total number of casualties and victims exceeded 160.
