The court in Karachai-Circassia will be hearing a case of an arson of a Baptist church
A criminal case of Arthur Eziyev accused of an arson of Evangelist Christian Baptist church "New Life" has been brought before Karachai court.
"During the investigation it was established that on June, 21, A. Eziyev, aged 26, resident of the aul of Khumish, threw two four-litre cans with combustible mixture into a window of the church and the building caught fire", Natella Makhova, Press secretary of Karachai-Circass Public prosecutor's office, reported on October, 13.
According to Makhova, the fire was extinguished by the efforts of the churchmen who were inside at the moment, "Interfax" reports.
According to State TV-radio channel "Stavropolye", the sum of the damage cased by the arson has been about 50 thousand rubles.
