Violations revealed in psycho-neurological orphanage in Adygea

The prosecutor's check conducted at the "Adamij Psycho-Neurological Orphanage" revealed numerous violations of the law. Consideration of the presentation on elimination of the violations will be held in the near future, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Sergey Mitusov, senior assistant of the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Adygea.

The list of violations in the work of the above orphanage in Adamij village, where 30 disabled children and 81 adult invalids are treated can be found in the website of the Prosecutor's Office of Adygea.

The list of violations runs that the orphanage "failed to create adequate conditions for the stay of the patients and organization of their catering, social hygiene and medical care." For a long time, according to prosecutors, the positions of psychiatrist and neurologist remain vacant; the facility lacks 7 nurses and the head of the curative section.

The comment received by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent at the "Roszdravnadzor" (Russian Federal Agency for Public Health Supervision) of the Republic of Adygea runs that initially it was a regular pre-planned check.

According to a relative of one of the patients, who preferred to remain anonymous, the situation in the orphanage is far from being ideal, but "the personnel is doing practically impossible things given the scanty salaries they receive."

The administration of the orphanage was unavailable for comments.
