The Sahara Arab Democratic Republic has already de facto recognizes the Republic of South Ossetia, although the official documents on recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations have not been signed yet."

Mr Kochiev also said that "there are also prospects in South Ossetia's relations with Algeria." According to his story, Algerian politicians had noted in their consultations with him that "Algeria's support may be important for further recognition of South Ossetia in Africa," the ITAR-TASS reports.
