The TV channel which is currently being created in Russia will broadcast on the line-up of the All-Russian TV and radio broadcasting company

The stuff of Plenipotentiary under the President in North-Caucasian Federal district are creating a TV channel devoted to Northern Caucasus in cooperation with the All-Russian TV and radio broadcasting company (ARTRC), Alexander Khloponin, Plenipotentiary in the district under the President reported at the meeting with representatives of the leading mass media in Northern Caucasus on September, 24.

"We are negotiating and preparing this project in cooperation with ARTRC which can later on create one more channel on its own line-up", Khloponin said. He had meant a federal channel which "would be broadcasting outside Northern Caucasus".

Khloponin said the channel was expected to be an informational and analytic one. Its next stage of development will become broadcasting not only within the territory of Russia but abroad as well, "Interfax" reports.

"A kind of information on each republic should be available which could be shown and would be interesting to people both in the Caucasus and outside it", Plenipotentiary said.

One of the employees of the Plenipotentiary mission said: "All the necessary equipment is already being purchased for the future TV channel", RIA "Novosti" informs.
