Two militiamen killed in a skirmish in Dagestan

According to the latest data, when a car was shelled in the Kazbek District of Dagestan, two militiamen were lost, another one and a local resident were hospitalized.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", the incident happened on September 22, at about 11 p.m. in the Kazbek District of Dagestan, in the 16th kilometre of the highway Khasavyurt-Dylym, near Leninaul village. Employees of the Kazbek ROVD (District Interior Division) and servicemen of internal troops of the Russian MIA tried to stop a VAZ-2106 car, but the driver ignored their demand and tried to escape.

In the course of a skirmish two persons in the car were killed. It was found out that they were employees of the Kazbek ROVD. A local resident, who also was in the car, was wounded, as well as an internal troop soldier, who pursued the car. Earlier it was reported about three casualties.

Now, a service check is underway, held by the department of own safety of the MIA of Dagestan. As reported by a source from there, under one of the versions, the militiamen had not stopped, as, in view of the complicated criminality situation, took the persons in camouflage for militants.
