Road traffic accident happened in Kalmykia, there are victims

Three persons perished and ten were taken to hospital in Kalmykia as a result of a head-on collision of a bus with a "VAZ-2114" car. The bus was following from Makhachkala to Moscow.

A representative of Press service of Southern regional center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the road traffic accident happened at 1:50 in two kilometers distance from Artezian settlement, Chernozemelsky district. There were forty people in the bus.

All the three victims were passengers of the car, a child among them. The ten hospitalized persons had been inside the bus.

According to the information from State Traffic Inspection, moving out of the bus to the wrong side has been the cause of the accident, "RIA-Novosti" reports.

"Caucasian Knot" has already informed that in the evening of September, 20, 17 people were injured, five of them taken to hospital in Elista as a result of a collision of an excavator with a minibus. The excavator drove out of the minor road to the main one because of the brakes' failure and bumped into the minibus.

On September, 18, three persons perished as a result of a road traffic accident in Yashkul district of Kalmykia. A bus following from Makhachkala to Elista drove off the line and turned over. The total number of injured people comes to twelve.
