Krasnodar Territory: "White Tape" initiates new all-Russian movement

Activists of the public movement "White Tape", operational today in Krasnodar, Novorossisk, Sochi and St Petersburg, and of several other public and political structures have announced their intention to create a nationwide all-Russian movement "Freedom. Brotherhood. Justice".

Alexei Dymovskiy, ex-militia major and the founder of the "White Tape", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on September 19 they held an Internet congress of the "White Tape", where it was finally decided to launch a new all-Russian movement.

Mr Dymovskiy has also explained the choice of the name for the new movement. "I believe that freedom, brotherhood and justice make a formula for revival of the new Russia," he said. "Freedom is the need for every person. A human is free if he or she has a choice - at least white or black. Sooner or later, the human will have to choose - at this moment he or she is free. Brotherhood - because Russia is home to many nations with different religions, but we have nothing to divide. Justice is another criterion of a free society."

According to his story, if a society has justice, where everyone is equally treated by the law and responds according to the law, it is a free society.

Let us remind you that on September 19 in Krasnodar, activists of the local branch of the "White Tape" and interregional public organization "Mothers in Defence of Rights of Detainees, Suspects and Convicts" held a picket in support of Article 19 of the Russian Constitution, which proclaims everyone's equality before the court and the law.
