Head of corrective colony shot dead in Makhachkala

As reported by law enforcement bodies of the capital of Dagestan, last night unidentified criminals killed the head of Corrective Colony No. 7; his wife was wounded.

The incident took place at 11:30 p.m. Moscow time in Makhachkala, at No. 7 Khurshilova Street.

The fire on the service Volga car with Colonel Omar Mugadov inside was opened, when he stopped to wait for his wife, who went shopping.

The "Interfax" reports that the colonel died in place from his gunshot wounds; his wife received a gutter wound of her shoulder. The attackers are now searched, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
