Azerbaijan Defense Minister: "Stability in the Southern Caucasus depends on the reestablishment of the country's territorial integrity"

Stability in the Southern Caucasus depends on the reestablishment of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity. Azerbaijan Defense Minister Safar Abiev told it while meeting with former adviser to the U.S. President Zbigniew Brzezinski on November 7. Mr. Brzezinski arrived in Azerbaijan for a three-day visit on November 6. "We are dissatisfied that the world community applies double standards to the Karabakh conflict, which, in its turn, makes Azerbaijan settle the problem by military means.  We hope international organizations will recognize Armenia as occupant and take real measures to settle the Karabakh conflict. The conflict settlement will contribute towards building up stability in the Southern Caucasian region," stressed Mr. Abiev.
