• In Nalchik, Circassians commemorate Caucasian War victims

  On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the end of the Caucasian War, residents of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have gathered at the Tree of Life monument to commemorate the victims thereof. They have stated that they try to come there every year to pay tribute to the memory of those who died for the independence of the Circassian people.

  The participants in the gathering held in the Levashin District have demanded to return the girl abducted by a young man back to her family and complained about inaction of law enforcement bodies.
