Wounded TEC chairman dies in Dagestan
Dadzhimurad Suleimanov, chairman of the territorial electoral commission (TEC) of the Novolak District of Dagestan, who was wounded in the evening on August 27, has died in hospital, a source from the local Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported today.
"Suleimanov died in hospital of Khasavyurt from his wounds: he received four wounds, including of the abdominal cavity," said the source.
An unidentified criminal got into his house and made several pistol shots at the chairman, the "Interfax" reports. Four 9 mm cartridge cases were found in the place of the incident, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
