MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh reports injury of its soldier by Azerbaijani servicemen

An armed clash of the Armenian and Azerbaijani parties burst out in the northeast of Nagorno-Karabakh. According to Karabakh militaries, both parties suffered losses, while their Azerbaijani counterparts did not confirm their losses.

"On August 31, at 6:30 a.m. local time (5:30 a.m. Moscow time), in the northeast direction of the contact line of the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, in the area of Verkhniy Chailu village, a diversion attempt was undertaken by the opponent against one of the combat posts of the Karabakh Army," runs the statement of the division of information and propaganda of the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to the Armenian party, the militaries of advanced units of the Karabakh Army have timely detected the movements of the Azerbaijani special fighters and threw them back to initial positions, having inflicted losses. As a result of the fight, Rudik Minaseryan, 19, a private of the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh, was wounded. The details of the incident are now cleared out.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan, the ceasefire regime was broken by the Armenian party. The Azerbaijani party refutes the information about its own losses.
