Nalchik to build a large Islamic centre

As announced today by Anas Pshikhachev, Chairman of the Spiritual Moslems' Administration (SMA) of Kabardino-Balkaria, a multifunctional Islamic centre will be built in Nalchik.

The centre will include a new building of the Islamic university, a hostel, a sports complex, a printing house, a new building of the SMA of Kabardino-Balkaria and a cathedral mosque capable to house 5000 believers at a time.

According to Mr Pshikhachev, the land for the Islamic centre has been allocated, same as the money for preparing the documentation; the project should be completed by December 1.
