Two young men shot dead in Kizilyurt District of Dagestan

Today at night in Kirovaul village, Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, unidentified persons shot two young men dead from their automatic firearms.

The gunmen opened fire on a VAZ-2109 car with two local residents inside. Both young men died in place from received gunshot wounds, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

The Russian News Service adds with reference to local MIA that the casualties were cousins.

One of them was in close relations with Bagautdin Magomedov (Kebedov) - the spiritual and ideological leader of religious extremists in Dagestan and Chechnya, who was announced into federal and international search, the "Interfax" reports with reference to its source in law enforcement bodies of Dagestan. The casualties' names are not disclosed.
