Action against Kadyrov in Kurchaloy district

Leaflets were scattered by unknown people in the village of Alleroy, the Kurchaloy district, on the night of September 27.

They contain no appeals and slogans against Kadirov. Extracts from the interview of the administration head's son Ramzan to the Chechen television of August 1, 2003, a passage from the appeal of one of the Chechen field commanders Doku Umarov to Kadyrov's supporters and some lines from the poem of the famous Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko "Kavkaz" are given on usual standard sheets, which are entitled "The Dossier".

Akhmad Hajji Kadyrov's own words which he said after the end of the first Russian-Chechen war are also given in the leaflets. They sound in translation about like this, "A Moslem who has offered his hand to a Christian and embraced him, takes a risk of becoming a Christian himself". There is also a photo of Kadyrov embracing Russian President Putin and another photo showing the Chechen administration head and a woman of Slavic appearance with arms round each other.

The unknown persons who distribute these leaflets act as if they give people a chance to draw respective conclusions on the main Chechen presidential contender's personality themselves. According to available information, all forces of the Kurchaloy regional interior department have been sent to search the malefactors.
