Law enforcement bodies investigate militiaman's murder in Karachai-Circassia

The body of a militiaman, aged 27, with numerous piercing and cutting wounds was found in the evening on July 11 in Uchkeken village of the Malokarachaevskiy District of Karachai-Circassia.

According to the investigation, the murder was committed on that very day. Khusei Chekkuev, Senior Sergeant of the temporary isolation facility (known as "IVS") of the Malokarachaevskiy ROVD (District Interior Division) was not at his service and dressed as a civilian. His body was found behind the fence in the southern part of the central marketplace of Uchkeken village, near the bank of the Eshkakon River. He died from his fatal wounds in the place of the incident.

The statement of the Investigatory Department for Karachai-Circassia of the ICPO that arrived to the "Caucasian Knot" office says that the investigation studies various versions of the crime, including an everyday conflict, not related to the victim's service.
