Picket against raider's capture in Krasnodar Territory held in Moscow

On July 9, 2010, a picket against raider's capture in the Krasnodar Territory of the agricultural enterprise - Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Zaporozhskoe" - was held opposite the central entrance to the building of the Investigatory Committee at the State Office of Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation (ICPO). None of its officials went out to meet the protesters.

The picketers assert that as a result of raider's capture of "Zaporozhskoe", which lasts for more than two years already, its over six hundred employees suffer: the interests of residents of 12 dwelling settlements are broken. In the opinion of participants of the action, their right and interests are broken both by inactivity of law enforcement authorities and by direct violation of the law by supervising agencies.

It was supposed that over 50 persons would take part in the picket - members of the labour collectives of the OJSC "Zaporozhskoe" and Limited Liability Company (LLC) "Trading House Zaporozhskiy-2", said Marina Sadykova, one of the participants of the action, but "because of raider's captures the enterprise had no funds to send more people."

The protesters were supported by the children of the workers of the above two entities, who study in Moscow, and sympathizing passers-by. In total, 12 persons were picketing.

They stood opposite the central entrance to the ICPO with their posters.

The picket was coordinated with the Prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow according to the law. The action lasted for two hours. "Apart from the militiamen, who took care of our safety, there was nobody more. Nobody went out to us, and nobody heard us, although we sat directly opposite the ICPO," Ms Sadykova has noted.
