In Dagestan, a militiaman's car shelled and a powerful bomb neutralized

On April 1 in the evening, in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, unidentified opened fire on the service car of the head Aksai settlement police station at the local ROVD (District Militia Division). And on the day of terror acts - on March 31 - a powerful bomb was neutralized in the Kizlyar District. In both cases there were no casualties and victims.

Today it became known that in the vicinity of Kizlyar a powerful bomb was neutralized; it was found in the cemetery of Oguzer village. Experts blew it up, as the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.

As reported by the press service of the MIA of Dagestan, the shelling in the Khasavyurt District took place on the following day, April 1, in the 13th kilometre of the Khasavyurt-Grebenskaya Highway. Unidentified persons opened automatic fire, from their black Lada Priora car without state number plates, on the car of a militia major and disappeared. The militiaman did not suffer. The "Volcano" special action plan was introduced for searching the criminals, the ITAR-TASS reports.

It was not the only incident in the republic on April 1. At night, at about 00:30 a.m. Moscow time, an explosion was triggered inside a VAZ-21099 car near Toturbiikala village in Khasavyurt District, as a result of which two persons were lost and one more was heavily wounded and hospitalized.

Under preliminary information, a self-made explosive device got triggered because of a short circuit during transportation, as the RIA "Dagestan" was informed by the press service of the republic's MIA. The press service added that at the moment of explosion three suspected members of IAFs (illegal armed formations) were in the car.
