Resident of Sunzhen district kidnapped in Ingushetia

On June 28, seven unidentified persons in camouflage clothes, threatening with their automatic guns, kidnapped a resident of the village of Arshty, Sunzhen district of Ingushetia, reports a source at the republic's law enforcement agency today.

The incident took place on the highway near the settlement of Assinovskaya, Sunzhen district.

Seven unidentified persons in a "Zhiguli", threatening with their automatic guns, stopped the Mercedes driven by a resident of the village of Arshty, unemployed, who was returning with his four relatives to the settlement of Bamut, Achkhoi-Martan district of Chechnya. The kidnappers took him out of the car and drove to unknown destination.

According to the source, the militia officers undertake measures to locate the victim, to find and detain the persons who have committed the crime.

A criminal case is initiated on the incident under article 126 of RF CC (kidnapping), prescribing up to 20 years of prison, reports RIA "Novosti".
