Dmitri Medvedev approves list of orders on Chechnya

As reported today by the press service of the Kremlin, based on the outcomes of the meeting with Chechen leadership on June 14, 2010, President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev has approved the list of his instructions (orders).

According to the document, before December 1, 2010, the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) deployed in Chechnya shall be equipped with armoured machinery, arms, ammunitions and weapons according to established standards for law-enforcement bodies of Russia; the funds shall be allocated from the respective budgets.

Before August 15, 2010, as Mr Medvedev has instructed, proposals should be moved on definition of unique suppliers of goods from Chechnya for the military and equated Russian consumers deployed in the territory of the republic.

Before January 1, 2011, it is necessary to hold inventory of all the agricultural machinery owned by Chechen farms and write off what is missing or damaged.

By October 1, 2010, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin shall make inventory of all the finished or reconstructed objects in the territory of Chechnya, which had not been commissioned, and speed up the process.

The President has also commanded to take measures towards de-mining of agrarian lands and forests in Chechnya, having first approved the methodology for defining the cost of such works, volumes, terms and order of financing.

The list of orders also includes completion of the second phase of the Severny Airport in Grozny and moving proposals on formation of the fleet of locally-made aircrafts for the Limited Liability Company "Grozny Avia Airline".
