In Azerbaijan, trial of resident of Dagestan Usman Garisov reappointed, his brother says

The Kusar District Court of Azerbaijan has reappointed the court session on the case of the resident of Dagestan Usman Garisov, accused of drug contraband and use on July 13, said Umar Garisov, the detainee's brother, a resident of Karanaiaul village of the Kayakent District of Dagestan.

On June 22, the court listened to the parties of prosecution and defence. "In the beginning, two policemen gave evidences - allegedly, the witnesses of my brother's detention. One of them said that six yellow tablets were confiscated from Usman, while the other said that there were four black tablets," Umar Garisov said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Then, Umukhanum Razakova, a resident of Dagestan, was invited to the session. She said that my brother had bought the tablets at the drugstore - they were in open sale there," said Umar.

According to his story, Judge Telman Mamedov from the Kusar District Court of Azerbaijan Garisov, having listened to the debates of the parties, decided to reappoint the session on July 13: "He gave no arguments. Mamedov said that the final verdict on the case may be passed on July 13."
