Resident of Makhachkala complains against the securities officials who performed special operation in her house

Today, a resident of Makhachkala Aziza Akhmedulayeva approached with a letter to the heads of security forces in Dagestan, Vice-Premier of Dagestan Rizvan Kurbanov, and Commissioner for human rights in Dagestan Umupazil Omarova, to make an official investigation into preparation of special operation on May 8.

"On the incident no one wrote and yet that day at Akyshinsky Street 13-11 where I live there were preparations for a fully valid special operation involving heavy armored vehicles with tanks. The securities officials (siloviki) woke up our neighbors who explained to them that all tenants knew each other and any person could be taken out of the house, if needed, but the militiamen did not listen to them", Akhmedulayeva told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

She said her son-in-law Akhmed heard some talk over portable radio and came out of his room but was immediately caught by the men in camouflage dressing and masks. "Hiding behind my son-in-law's back, the militiamen made a round of the first floor of the house, examining cupboards and beds. For inspection of the second floor they used as a human shield Akhmed's wife Marina who was in her second month. At gunpoint she was forced to open cupboards and inspect nooks. Marina had experienced such severe stress that by noon she had uterine bleeding and a miscarriage. And all this happened before the eyes of 8 members of our family, including four minor children', the woman says.

Akhmedulayeva reported that preparations for the raid also caused some damage to neighbors. "There was a dismantled part of the roof where a sniper was sitting, a stall owned by another neighbor was crushed by a tank", she added. According to her, when the securities officials realized they had come to the wrong address, they recorded data on all the tenants and asked about previous landlords.

Akhmedulayeva asked senior officials to make official investigation of this incident and proper assessment of the offenders, as well as to find out who and on what grounds authorized the assault of her house, what kind of pre-work was done for examination of her family 'status' and on what grounds she and her relatives "turned out to become victims of lawlessness."

The press service of the Dagestani Interior Ministry and Federal Security Service said they did not have information about the incident.
