Krasnodar court rejects Dymovskiy's complaint against verdict on Novorossisk UVD's claim

The Krasnodar Territorial Court has refused to satisfy the complaint of former militiaman Alexei Dymovskiy, who tried to challenge the decision of Primorskiy Court of Novorossisk.

Let us remind you that on March 23 the Primorskiy District Court of Novorossisk obliged Alexei Dymovskiy to pay out 50,000 roubles to Vladimir Chernositov, head of the Novorossisk UVD, and Valery Medvedev, head of the Primorskiy ROVD, each and bring public apologies to them "for dissemination of discrediting information about them."

"The complaint was left without satisfaction, and the verdict of the Primorskiy Court - without changes," Valery Melnikov, Dymovskiy's advocate, told the "Interfax". He reported his plans to appeal against this decision of the district court to the supervising instance. Besides according to Mr Melnikov, Dymovskiy has grounds to address the Primorskiy Court with a demand to restart the case on newly-revealed circumstances.

"I found a documentary confirmation of Dymovskiy's words that a special order existed in Novorossisk of issuing sick leaves to militiamen. In particular, the document says that militiamen can be sent to a sick leave for no more than seven days," he said.

Valery Melnikov has added that the situation with sick leaves for militiamen was one of the violations listed by Dymovskiy in his Internet appeal.

He has also noted that the petition to restart the proceedings on this case because of newly-revealed circumstances unknown to Dymovskiy earlier would be submitted after the holidays, the "Live Kuban" writes.
