Andrei Lebedev: Kalmyk President should report his contacts with extraterrestrials

Andrei Lebedev, Deputy of the State Duma (from the LDPR), sent an appeal to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev asking him to clarify the situation with contacts of the head of Kalmykia Kirsan Ilyumzhinov with extraterrestrials.

Having heard Ilyumzhinov's interview in Vladimir Pozner's programme on April 26, where the head of Kalmykia told about his meeting with extraterrestrials on September 18, 1997, Lebedev concluded that Ilyumzhinov concealed something, and that he actually gave some secret information to humanoids, not just had a walk over their spaceship, as he asserts.

The MP Lebedev has concluded that Ilyumzhinov will tell the whole story only to President of the country; therefore, he asked Medvedev to personally talk to the head of Kalmykia and then retell their conversation to the State Duma.

In his appeal to the President Andrei Lebedev wants Kirsan Ilyumzhinov to answer the following questions: How had the dialogue with humanoids affected execution of his official duties? Did extraterrestrials asked Ilyumzhinov about any nuances of his professional work (and if they asked, what "evidences" had he given)?

"Also, please tell us whether the head of the Republic of Kalmykia had reported to the administration of the President of the Russian Federation about his contacts with representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. Is there any established procedure on how to inform the country's top officials about such contacts by the persons who possess classified information, to whom Ilyumzhinov surely belongs?" the "Echo Moskvy" Radio quotes Mr Lebedev's statement.

While telling about his meeting with extraterrestrials in Vladimir Pozner's programme, Mr Ilyumzhinov said that his story could be treated differently, but "I believe in it, I communicated with them, and I saw them." Besides, he has witnesses: "I, probably, would not believe it, but I had three witnesses: my driver, a minister and my assistant."

President of Kalmykia explained that one Saturday evening he arrived to his Moscow apartment, read a book, watched television and was already to fall asleep, but suddenly felt that the balcony door opened and someone was calling him. When Ilyumzhinov came up to the balcony, he saw some semi-transparent tube there and entered it. There were people in yellow spacesuits there.

He communicated with humanoids at the level of thoughts, "because he lacked some oxygen." The extraterrestrials looked friendly, made an excursion for him around their spaceship and let him off. They stated that they were not yet ready to meet the rest of the mankind; therefore, they did not make any direct contacts," the "Newsru.com" Agency quotes Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.
