Lithuanian power agents deny any links of their investigation with terror acts in Moscow

The investigation of preparation of a possible terror act in Lithuania has nothing to do with the explosions in Moscow metro, said Algimantas Klyunki, chief prosecutor of the department for fighting corruption and organized crime, who explained that the investigation of the case about the terrorist activity in the republic was conducted since August 2009.

Earlier, the newspaper Lietuvos Rytas reported that on the eve of Moscow terror acts, a certain girl of 20, Egle by name, a resident of Klaipeda, was detained  at the Vilnius International Airport; in her luggage plans of Moscow metro and some data about explosive mechanisms and use of them were found. According to the paper, the Lithuanian power agents were checking the version that a female citizen of Lithuania could be about the suicide bombers who committed their terror acts on March 29 in Moscow metro.

"The information published by the paper about possible preparation of the crime, possible time and place of the planned crime, and time and place of detention of certain persons, has nothing to do with reality," the "Gazeta.Ru" reports with reference to Mr Klyunki.
