Moscow City Court refused to toughen punishment to Ryno and Skachevskiy

Today, the Moscow City Court has found the leaders of a skinhead grouping Arthur Ryno and Pavel Skachevskiy guilty of new episodes of nationalism-motivated attacks; however, the court decided not to toughen the punishment appointed in the first verdict - 10 years of imprisonment. The verdict is based on the jurymen's conclusion.

The Moscow City Court made its today's decision, because the criminals made their attack, while being minors yet; therefore, their maximum punishment could be 10 years of imprisonment. At the same time, to the third figurant of the case - Roman Kuzin, also convicted earlier, will have 2 years added (22 years in total) to his imprisonments, the "Vesti.Ru" reports.

The court qualified Kuzin's actions only as "a hooligan attack with the aim to kindle racial and national hatred," having excluded the charge of a murder attempt from the verdict. After announcement of the verdict, the public prosecutor said that the state accusation would later evaluate the decision of the court, as the "Interfax" writes.

In his turn, Mikhail Borisov, Ryno's advocate, said that he had not decided yet whether to appeal against the verdict.
