Terrorist-suicide-bomber blows herself up in Ingushetia

In the course of a special operation in Ekazhevo village, Nazran District of Ingushetia, a woman suicide-bomber rushed to the militia cordon and fatally wounded a militiaman from her pistol. This was reported by law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia.

Let us remind you that special actions in the suburb of Ekazhevo were opened by agents of the FSB and the Temporary Operative Grouping (TOG) today in the morning. Earlier, it was reported that two power agents were wounded.

The incident with the suicide bomber happened at about 1:20 p.m. Moscow time in the Khidriev Street, where employees of power agencies made a cordon, when an unknown woman tried to approach them.

As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the republic, "she got out of the car, approached the cordon and made a pistol shot at a militiaman. She aimed at Movsar Tambiev, head of the Nazran ROVD."

Response fire was opened on the attacker, then, an explosive device attached to her body got triggered, the ITAR-TASS reports.

The militiaman who was wounded by the terrorist - Ruslan Tsurov, head of the division of district militiamen of the Nazran ROVD, - was hospitalized, but soon died.

As reported by the MIA nobody suffered from the terrorist's self-explosion.

She has been identified already. "It was Marina Evloeva, a native of Grozny, born in 1984, a resident of Kantyshevo village, Nazran District of Ingushetia. Her passport was found on her body," the investigatory bodies of Ingushetia report. She was a wife of one of the militants blocked in the course of the special operation.

Later, law enforcement bodies reported about the end of the special operation in Ekazhevo. "Under preliminary information, in the course of the special operation three militants were liquidated; they hid in a private household in the Khidriev Street," the "Interfax" quotes words a source in law enforcement bodies of the republic.

However, soon the warfare restarted, as reported by the Public Prosecutor of the republic Yuri Turygin, who confirmed that, in any case, "at least three militants were liquidated" in the course of the special operation.

Meanwhile, soon after the explosion the MIA of Ingushetia reported that another terror act against militiamen to be committed by a woman suicide-bomber was prepared. Subsequently this information was not confirmed, as stated by President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov on air of the "Echo Moskvy" Radio.
