Public organization's newspaper became laureate in competition of social periodical press of Russia's South

The philanthropic project "Overcoming of Informational Barriers" has been carried out in the Stavropol region for over seven months. A newspaper of the same name is published within the framework of this project. It is distributed free of charge among displaced persons and other poorly protected sections of people in the region.

The newspaper is issued by the Association of Stavropol Territory's Migrant Organizations "Solidarity" with the assistance of the Caucasian Knot Internet website, the Memorial society and the Soros Foundation.

In September of the current year, the newspaper "Overcoming of Informational Barriers" became a laureate in the competition of social periodical press of Russia's South "Priznaniye - 2003" ("Recognition - 2003"), which was arranged by the Rostov Resource Center.
