Authorities of Dagestan create a school of bloggers

Dagestan plans to set up a school of bloggers. The initiative belongs to the information-analytical centre of the local Ministry on Youth's Matters. The main mission of the school is proclaimed as "creation of positive information" about the republic.

"Unfortunately, in Dagestan-based blogs we can see asocial phenomena; it's difficult to find positive information about our republic there," said Mukhtar Amirov, director of the centre. "The school of bloggers will allow training experts-patriots, ready to tell about what happens in Dagestan".

Dagestan bloggers were not unanimous towards the new endeavour.

"I wonder whether patriots should tell that at the university money is extorted from them. Can they be indignant with doubtful special operations of power agents? Can they criticize one's activity? And in general, will these bloggers have THEIR OWN opinion, or somebody else will express their opinoin?" marks the blogger who is writing in the LiveJournal under the nickname Zakir05.

And blogger Bless-88 is ready to go and see what the Dagestan School of Bloggers looks like. "And we'll really go. Why not to have a piece of laughter? That's all, colleagues, let's now quit the LJ. Only patriotic texts will now be placed here, written by specially trained authors," she writes.
