Improvised memorial in the place of Markelov's murder desecrated

In Moscow, unidentified persons desecrated the improvised memorial installed by anti-fascists in the place, where lawyer Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasia Baburova were assassinated - in the arch of White Chambers in Prechistenka.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that the photos of the perished anti-fascists were scattered, and inscription "Russophobe was killed here!" appeared on the wall accompanied by a swastika.

The "Caucasian Knot" reported that Stanislav Markelov was shot dead on January 19, 2009, on his way from a press conference at the "Independent Press Centre" in Prechistenka, dedicated to early relief of former colonel Yuri Budanov.
