Karastelyov: Dymovskiy's arrest was pre-planned

The procedure of today's fast judicial session was scripted well in advance: the militia cordoned the court building and brought Alexei Dymovskiy to the SIZO (pre-trial custody) even before the judgement. This was reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the court building in Novorossisk is informed by Vadim Karastelyov, an expert of the Novorossisk Committee of Human Rights and official representative of the former Major of Novorossisk militia Alexei Dymovskiy.

"Today Dymovskiy was summoned for interrogation to the inspector of the investigatory committee of Novorossisk, where he went together with his advocates. There, 40 minutes later, a judicial session was appointed to consider the issue of his measure of restraint - from recognizance not to leave to taking into custody under the motive that Alexei had allegedly exerted pressure on the witnesses in his incriminated swindle case, Mr Karastelyov said.

"The whole scenario was written well in advance, and the judgement was pre-programmed," he has added. "The court building was cordoned in advance, the truck for transporting inmates stood ready, and plenty of militiamen around, who then convoyed him to the truck."

So far, no comments of the prosecution and court officials are available.

Meanwhile now, as Vadim Karastelyov reports, Dymovskiy in handcuffs, under reinforced guard, is transported to the SIZO in Krasnodar.

As explained by Karastelyov, yesterday Alexei filed an application to the Civil Registration Bureau on registration of his marriage. His wife is pregnant, and marriage act was scheduled on next Friday.

"On Monday, the day the day of Dymovskiy's trial, at 1:30 p.m. we'll hold a picket in defence of Dymovskiy and for reforms in the MIA in Novorossisk, and in 2:30 p.m. his trial will take place in the Primorskiy District Court there," Vadim Karastelyov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Dymovskiy's arrest was confirmed by ICPO's spokesman Vladimir Markin. According to his version, the preliminary investigation of the case continues, as the "Interfax" reports.
