Adyg Diaspora of Turkey is concerned about situation in Kabardino-Balkaria

The members of the Adyg Diaspora of Turkey, representing the public organization "Kakavsevi" (Caucasian Home), have condemned the recent attacks on leaders of the Adyg social movements in Kabardino-Balkaria.

"The odious attempts on the live of Ruslan Keshev, Ibrakhim Yaganov, Murat Berzegov and Zamir Sukhov have deeply injured us," runs the statement if "Kakavsevi".

The authors of the document view the attacks on public activists as provocations. "Someone tries to destabilize the situation by pushing the ingenious nations of the republic to confrontation," they mark.

In the opinion of Turkish Adygs, "the mess was brought in by the laws adopted by the Russian State Duma." "They have ignored the will of the population and specific conditions of the region, thus, creating preconditions for possible future conflicts," runs the statement.
