Yamadaevs: great reward promised for murdering Isa

The gunmen who are now hunting in Moscow for Isa Yamadaev - one of the three still alive brothers - were promised a generous reward. Isa's close relatives are sure of that and say that his appeal to Dmitri Medvedev was caused not so much by his fear for his own life, but by his desire to draw Russian President's attention to what really happens today in the Chechen Republic.

"Being a Moslem, Isa understands that the destiny of each of us is predetermined by Allah well before our birth," one of Isa's relatives said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Like any other former fighter of the 'Vostok' battalion, Isa faced death more than once and already twice could fall victim of attempts. He thinks, first of all, not about himself but about his family, about his brothers' families and about those residents of our republic who are still tormented and killed under various pretexts. This was his reasoning behind this open appeal," said the relative.

According to his story, Yamadaevs have their own sources in power agencies, from which they managed to learn that several groups of killers had been sent to Moscow from Grozny with the task by all means and in the shortest time to liquidate Isa Yamadaev.

"A huge reward was promised to gunmen; millions US dollars can be at stake," the relative has added.

He asserts that the killers who last year assassinated in central Moscow Ruslan Yamadaev - the eldest of the brothers and a former deputy of the Russian State Duma, received apartments in prestigious Moscow districts, expensive foreign-made cars and several hundreds thousand US dollars as remuneration for their crime.

In the opinion of another Yamadaevs' close relative, the fact that Isa Yamadaev was given security by Russian law enforcement bodies is evidencing that the situation is serious.

At the same time, some members of the family believe that allocation of bodyguards to Isa and his open appeal to Medvedev can force the customers and organizers of his would-be murder to give up their plans.

We remind you that yesterday, on November 19, Isa Yamadaev disseminated his open appeal to President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev stating that there is an order to kill him before the New Year and asking for defence.
