Azerbaijan to have a new tea factory

In the near future, a new tea factory will be launched in Lyankyaran. The enterprise, which occupies 1 hectare, is its final stage of commissioning, as reported by its director Mukhandis Dzhakhangirov.

The preliminary processing of tea leaves, packaging and sale will be carried out by the enterprise itself. The factory will have shops for processing, sorting and packing. Every day, two tons of green tea leaves will be accepted and packed by grades and weight, as the "Trend" reports.

In the opinion of experts, Azerbaijan, where tea has been grown since the 18th centuries, now is the largest manufacturer of tea in the former USSR; however, in future, Azerbaijani factories can experience deficit of own (South-Azerbaijani) raw materials, as the RBI Agency reports.
