South Ossetia to found its film studio

Tamerlan Dzudtsov, Minister of Culture of South Ossetia, said that in 2010 the republic will start making its own feature films.

"I anticipate the time, when in the territory of South Ossetia we'll start at last shall making our own films. I hope we'll be able to do it already next year. The issue of starting our own film studio is now discussed with the committee for culture of the local parliament," the "Res" Agency quotes Mr Dzudtsov as saying.

Meanwhile, the American film director Renny Harlin, author of the blockbusters "Die Hard 2" and "Cliffhanger", is now in Georgia making a film about war with Russia in August 2008. According to his story, the film will not be politically oriented.

According to Mr Dzudtsov, the world community should already react and make conclusions about the correspondence of the plot of this film to real facts, the "Osinform" Agency reports.
