"Caucasian Knot" continues voting for Ingush Ombudsman

The polling "Who deserves to become Ombudsman in Ingushetia?" held by the "Caucasian Knot" has aroused considerable interest among the readers. Recently, a splash in voting mainly for two candidates is observed.

The polling was initiated by the "Caucasian Knot" on September 21, and voting went on along with usual visits made by users to the resource. However, on September 28 a link to the polling appeared in one of Ingush websites, and the voting became much more active in favour of one of the candidates to the post of the Ingush Ombudsman.

The next wave of voting activity was observed at night on October 6 and 7; however, this time the votes were cast another candidate for the post of the Ombudsmen.

The editorial board of the "Caucasian Knot" lacks the technical capacity to affect the voting process: the poll is placed in the authoritative resource PollDaddy.com, belonging to the WordPress.

Let us remind you that the former Ombudsman of Ingushetia Karim-Sultan Kokurkhaev was dismissed before term on September 17. His work caused discontent in public and human rights activists and in President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov.
