Suicide bomber who blew himself up in Chechnya identified

The law enforcement bodies of Chechnya report that they have established the person of the terrorist-suicide bomber who tried today in the morning to blow up the building of the police station in Starye Atagi village in the Grozny District of the republic.

The correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" was told at the MIA of Chechnya that Vakha Malsagov, 21, a resident of the Grozny District, tried to blow up the territorial police station in the foothill village of Starye Atagi.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported with reference to the MIA of Chechnya that today about seven o'clock in the morning an attempt of a terror act with participation of a suicide bomber was accomplished in Starye Atagi village, Grozny District. The would-be bomber was detected near the police station. Having seen that he was detected, the suicide bomber triggered the bomb fixed on his body. The terrorist was the only casualty of the explosion. There are no victims among militiamen or civilians.
