Investigatory Committee of Chechnya opens case on threats to kill Kadyrov

The ICPO of Chechnya has initiated a criminal case against the unidentified persons, who placed on June 26 in the main page of the website "Chechnya Today" threats of murder addressed to the republic's leader Ramzan Kadyrov.

Let us remind you that on June 26 sources in local power agencies reported that unknown hackers destroyed "one of the websites of the Ministry of Press of Chechnya." They placed information in its front page that the responsibility for the attempt on President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov was taken by "a special operative group of mujahads". Besides, the website contained the text, saying that President of Chechnya Kadyrov will follow Evkurov. After the hackers' attack, the website was closed.

As reported by the spokesman of the ICPO, the criminal case was opened on the basis of the materials of the check held by the FSB Department of Chechnya.

"After hacking the website, the malefactors got possession of the passwords giving access to administering this Internet resource. Then they placed in its main page threats of murder addressed to the President of the republics and assuming actions of violent character," runs the message of the FSB as quotes by the "Interfax".
