Georgian "New Right-Wingers" refuse their deputy mandates again

The Georgian oppositional party named "New Right-Wingers" has again refused from their deputy mandates, which the party won at the latest parliamentary elections on May 21, 2008. This was stated at a press conference by party leaders Mamuka Katsitadze and Pikriya Chikhradze.

"We aren't going to change our position so easy and return to parliament. Our position remains the same," said Mamuka Katsitadze.

Pikriya Chikhradze has emphasized, in her turn that "one day Georgia will hold early and free parliamentary elections, and the 'New Right-Wingers' will surely win their mandates."

For today, out of the seven opposition parties, which received deputy mandates, only the "New Right-Wingers" have announced their decision. The remaining ones - "Freedom", "National Forum", "Movement for United Georgia", "Georgia's Way", Conservative Party and Party of the People - have not yet expressed their attitude to Mikhail Saakashvili's initiative on returning their mandates.
