Kesaeva: Beslan School should become federal-value memorial

School No. 1 in Beslan, where terrorists 5 years ago took children as hostages, should become a memorial complex of the federal value; and its conservation should be done for the funds of the Russian Federation. This is the opinion of Ella Kesaeva, head of the All-Russian Public Organization "Voice of Beslan".

"The project designed by the German Company 'Knauf Kasse' is ideal; it should be implemented, but there's no money. Therefore, we believe that the school should become a memorial of the federal value, otherwise, the republic alone won't cope with it," Ms Kesaeva said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

She said that on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the Beslan terror act, its victims had sent 124 letters with appeal for help to the administration of the city.

Also, the victims ask to set up a database with information about every former hostage, where every victim should enter data on his or her state of health and get money for treatment, if required.
