Right-wing ultras take responsibility for murdering figurant in "Black Hawks" case

The "Combat Organization of Russian Nationalists" (known as "BORN") has disseminated the information that it takes the responsibility for a series of neo-Nazi crimes, committed in Moscow in 2008 and 2009, including the attack on two figurants in the case of the "Black Hawks" grouping, as a result of which Rasul Khalilov, a native of Azerbaijan, was assassinated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Rasul Khalilov was shot dead on September 3 in Moscow.

The BORN asserts that Khalilov and his comrades "were engaged in drug dealing at Moscow higher schools and attacks on Russian youth."

The organization also takes responsibility for blowing up the building of the Kuntsevo Branch of the ICPO on August 26 and the caf? in the General Belov Street on September 4. The Kuntsevo explosion, as they say in the statement published in one of the BORN websites was of "demonstrative character."

Last December the organization took responsibility for murdering Salekh Azizov and for assassination this January of the lawyer-human rights defender Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasia Baburova, the "Gazeta.Ru" notes.

The "Sova" Information-Analytical Centre reminds that the BORN had already taken responsibility for a violent attack on two citizens of Tajikistan in a Moscow suburb in December 2008, when a cut-off head of one of the victims was thrown into a garbage container at the administration of the "Mozhaiskiy" district of Moscow, and its photo was sent by E-mail to a number of human rights organizations.

However, the "Sova" doubts that those who spoke on behalf of the BORN on September 8 and those who acted under this name in 2008 are same people. The Centre's website notes that this conclusion is based of the circumstance that in 2008 the BORN took responsibility for the crimes, not reported by media; and BORN statements had then drawn attention to the incidents. Now, as the "Sova" remarks, the responsibility is taken for the crimes, broadly known and covered by the media in detail.
