Russian militaries let off four Georgians detained for trespassing South-Ossetian border

Today at night after interrogation, Russian militaries have released four residents of Sakorintlo village, Kaspsk District, bordering on South Ossetia. According to the detainees, Russian soldiers detained them, when they crossed the conventional border while pasturing their cattle.

The detained Georgians were brought to the military unit in the Akhalgori District, photographed and finger-printed. Earlier, the detainment of Georgians by Russian militaries was reported on September 1. Then, the detainees were accused of contraband in relic trees.

The "Interfax" reports that the shepherds, detained on September 6, were warned that in case of a repeated violation of the conventional border they will be arrested.

According to the Georgian party, as reported by the "Georgia Online", the local residents were kidnapped on September 6 by an Ossetian criminal grouping together with their cattle and brought to the territory of South Ossetia.
