Russian-speaking family assassinated in Chechnya

Ruslan Alkhanov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the republic has reported that a Russian-speaking family was killed in Pervomaiskaya village of Chechnya, but did not say, when the crime had been committed.

"In Pervomaiskaya village, Grozny District, of the republic, a crime was accomplished. Unknown persons liquidated the family of local resident Kolesnichenko. Two men and three women fell victims to criminals. Two children, 1.5 and 3 years old were left alive," said the Minister.

"This is a monstrous murder, which cannot be justified by anything. It was committed by persons, having nothing sacred in their souls. We're sure that the organizers and executors of this murder aimed at complicating the situation in the republic," the ITAR-TASS quotes Mr Alkhanov as saying.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that recently reports are coming from Chechnya dealing, basically, with murders of law enforcers or suspected militants. However, after cancellation of the CTO regime, the region has also seen a growth of perished peaceful residents.

According to the "Caucasian Knot" and open sources, since April 17 (the first day after cancellation of the CTO regime in Chechnya), in total, 18 civilians in the republic have suffered from terror acts, explosions and skirmishes. Within 120 days prior to the above cancellation, at least 8 civilians were lost.
