Attempt at official of Dagestani Department for Struggle Against Extremism and Criminal Terrorism was made in Makhachkala

On the night of August 20 in Makhachkala there was an attempt on the life of Mali Safarov, an official of the Dagestani Department for Struggle Against Extremism and Criminal Terrorism. Bullet wounded, Safarov was taken to hospital. His life is out of danger.

This is already the fourth attempt on the life of an official of the Department for Struggle Against Extremism and Criminal Terrorism for the year. The head of the department Akhberdilav Akilov and two officers were assassinated last year.
