Chechen MoIA doubts that terrorist act in Grozny was planned against Kadyrov

The Chechen MoIA expresses doubt that the terrorist who exploded himself on July 26 near the concert hall could initially plan an attempt on the life of  Ramzan Kadyrov. The militia officer who has given the information to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent thinks that the Chechen president is well protected.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent interlocutor does not claim that there are no plans to attempt Kadyrov's life among the militants, however, according to him, they are not able to implement such attempts thanks to a high professionalism of Ramzan Kadyrov's security officers.

According to the militiaman, "if the terrorist had managed to bring the bomb into the building there would have been scores of victims".

Previously, one of local witnesses expressed an opinion in his talk with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the main target of the suicide terrorist who had exploded himself near the concert hall in Grozny could have been the Chechen president. This is not ruled out by some local residents, either.

The yesterday's explosion in Grozny is a third major terrorist act committed in the Chechen capital after they canceled the regime of counter-terrorist operation, introduced as far back as in 1999, in April this year.
