Two military helicopters shelled in Shatoy District of Chechnya

Two helicopters were shelled in the mountainous Shatoy District of Chechnya; one soldier was wounded. As reported by the Republic's law enforcement bodies, the helicopters had to make an emergency landing.

The fire on helicopters was opened from a dense forest presumably from automatic firearms. The ITAR-TASS adds that the incident happened in the morning.

Meanwhile, according to The Moscow Post, nobody suffered in the shelling, and the aircrafts were slightly damaged.
